The hybrid sit-in/sit-on design was a world first which spawned similar craft, not only offering kayakers an alternative to standard sit-ins and sit-ons, but setting new trends in kayak design and safety. It is a reliable craft under adverse conditions.

The kayak has been used for various expeditions such as the excursion across Lake Tanganyika and used to cross Lake Malawi and more famously  in 2011 by Riaan Manser and Dan Skinstad’ts adventure in Iceland on their Swift Double; Inspiration
