Plett’s new Pansyshell Camino

Johan and Teresa Loots of Real Cape Adventures CC explored and helped to set up the first-ever and successful Kayak Camino on the famed Camino de Santiago in Galathea, Spain, a decade and half ago. They followed it with setting up the Cape Kayak Camino in Cape Town and Plettenberg Bay, South Africa, spawning a proliferation of camino-like trails, trips and tours in South Africa. The latest Camino in South Africa (as of 26-5-26) is their PANSYSHELL CAMINO in Plettenberg Bay. It replaces the Cape Kayak Camino and the Plett Coastal Camino and runs from Robberg to Natures Valley over five days of COASTAL hiking, which includes a full day of easy kayaking, supping or boating, through the magnificent Keurbooms Gorge, which is not accessible by foot. Accommodation is in comfortable AirBnB’s and Lodges conveniently situated along the route. All meals, transfers and guides are included. There are shorter versions too to accommodate tour groups and others on tight travel schedules. The Loots family has been associated with Plettenberg Bay for half a century so their PANSYSHELL CAMINO is simply the best choice to experience the REAL “Plett” with.
