The Plett Kayak&Hike Camino launched in Plettenberg Bay

Real Cape Adventures CC (established in 1994), the pioneering sea kayak tour company based in South Africa, is pleased to announce the commencement of its new Kayak Camino in Plettenberg Bay, in the Garden Route, South Africa. Ever since its establishment the company has been setting up, assisting others to set up and to run commercial sea kayak operations in South Africa, Southern Africa and further afield. The latest Camino is a step-up from their previous paddle and camping tour in this location and now covers fifty kilometres on kayaks and by foot over four days through the most stunning location in the Garden Route. Accommodation en route is in selected 3 to 4 star waterside boutique hotels and the emphasis is on immersing yourself in this beautiful place, body and soul. The route covers the Plett Lagoon, the Bitou Estuary, the Keurbooms Gorge, three Blue flag beaches and the incomparable Robberg Peninsula, rapidly becoming what for most is the best collection of day hikes in the world. The whole route is fronted by the Indian Ocean and surrounded by the Tsitsikamma Mountain range. The Kayak&Hike Camino offers a delightful experience of coastal living, beach culture, wilderness, forest, marine life and sheer beauty. For many, Plett is the place of eternal spring. The best way to discover why is to kayak and hike it with us.  We have been associated with Plettenberg Bay since 1970. The tours are run weekly from February to June and October to November.  The Price is R12000 pp. It includes accommodation, meals, craft and guides. For those with less available time, the company also offers two hour guided tours on the ocean or lagoon. Enquire now about Real Cape Adventures’ Plett Kayak&Hike Camino in Plettenberg Bay.
